Bookkeeper – Taunton

Jobseekers Recruitment Services are delighted to be working with a friendly, growing construction related SME company who are based in Taunton, Somerset.

Our client has a great opportunity and are looking to recruit a full time Bookkeeper to support them in the day to day finance duties.

The role:
Maintaining accurate financial records
Inputting data onto Quickbooks software
Managing accounts payable and processing payments to suppliers
Reconciliation of accounts
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions
Answering telephone calls
Responding to emails
Report tracking
Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems or software as needed

About you:
The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified and have previous experience of working within a finance environment, enjoy being able to prioritise your own workload, ideally have knowledge of Quickbooks accounting software, reconciliation of accounts, managing Accounts payable, processing supplier payments.
Previous experience gained within the construction industry is desirable, but not essential.

Whats on offer:
Salary up to GBP32000 DOE plus benefits including free parking
Hours: F/T (100% office based) 8.30 a.m. – 4.30 p.m. however, our client can offer some flexibility on the start time and will also consider applicants who may wish to work 4 days a week.
