The Role

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Software Developer (React, Vite, NextJS and TypeScript ) to join an ethical and professional organisation based in Taunton. As a Software Developer you will have a solid background in front end development. You will play an integral role in contributing to continous improvement within a collaborative team; you’ll have the ability to develop, test and deploy scalable and maintainable web applications whilst keeping up with current trends ensuring applications remain current and competitive. You will need to be self-motivated and enjoy working in a fast-paced rapidly changing environment.

Software Developer role essential requirements:

• Experienced with JavaScript and TypeScript
• React
• RESTful APIs and integrating front end applications with back end services
• NodeJS and NMP tooling
• Code versioning tools e.g. Git
• Bachelors degree – Computer Science or related
• Team Management/Leadership and mentoring

Desirable requirements:

• Vite experience
• NextJS
• ESlint Prettier
• Testing Frameworks
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices within Azure Infrastructure

Salary: Depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, Full time
Location: Taunton (Hybrid, 3 days in the office)
