October Catch-Up With Abi!

Hey everyone! Happy spooky month – I hope you have a fun Halloween. This month I thought it would be fun to give a few Halloween movie recommendations (both scary and non-scary) that you could watch to get ‘in’ with the season, as well as giving the usual update of how I’ve been doing!

So, let’s start with the ‘me’ update…

I’ve started my apprenticeship now, and so far, it’s been a bit of a breeze. My workload has definitely amplified (which is good), and I’ve been writing a few reports and learning more about various contracts and policies. Feeling more like a businesswoman by the day! I’ll also have the opportunity to manage a project for the company to take part in! So, I’ll have to start thinking of ideas for that, too. I’ve been keeping on top of my work, most importantly, and am still slowly learning more and getting more involved within my workplace too, which is always welcoming. I’m grateful for all the support I receive from my lovely colleagues and am excited to see where the next month will take me.

Now, for the fun…

Spooky (horror) movie recommendations from Abi!

  • Hereditary
  • Insidious
  • The Conjuring movies
  • The Saw movies

Warning – these movies are rather graphic! But very good, if you enjoy horror movies.

Spooky (non-horror) movie recommendations from Abi!

  • Nightmare Before Christmas (a bit of Halloween and Christmas!)
  • Knives Out
  • Coraline
  • Ghostbusters
  • And of course, a classic, Hotel Transylvania.

These movies are a mixture of spooky, mysterious and interesting – definitely worth a watch. And more suitable to watch with family, instead of the horror!

That’s all for this month – I hope everyone has a lot of treats (with a few tricks, for good measure), and enjoys their Halloween. See you next month!
