Senior Design Engineer

An opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join their team.

The role:

Producing engineering designs, which are optimised for production and managing engineering projects from
conception through to manufacturing.

• Product design and development.
• Based on requirements for new products and changes to existing products, 2D or 3D drawing and models
• Provide documentation for design reviews
• Produce drawings and instructions for fabrication / production
• Create and maintain bills of material
• Output files to CAM software including Radan
• Manufacturing Technical Support
• Assist production team with technical queries
• Produce standard operating procedures and routings when required
• Product Sales Technical Support
• Support sales team by providing models and drawings

The ideal candidate will hold a minimum HND (or equivalent Level 5 qualification) in a relevant Engineering subject and will have commercial inventor or solid works knowledge/experience.

Full time hours (Monday to Friday)
This role is location on the outskirts of Chard, Somerset
