Financial Controller

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an interesting business, fast growing with a loyal team of employees. As the Financial Controller you will be vital in supporting their Head of Finance and continued success and growth of their organisation.
In this role you will be responsible for using Sage 50 as the main tool to ensure that the company controls operational project pricing and costs to meet agreed profitability targets.

Responsibilities will include;

• Weekly performance reports, analysis and contract forecasting
• Reporting each week all Company contract information in Sage 50.
• Taking a lead in managing stock in Sage 50
• Managing the company price lists and adjusting to maintain margin according to the prevailing foreign currency exchange rates
• Credit Control and Invoice financing
• Management Accounts preparation
• Driving efficiency and continuous improvement of processes

Accountability

• Work alongside the sales and operations teams to ensure the contract terms are set up properly and project costs are monitored to achieve planned profitability
• Manage and report stock in Sage 50
• Attend and contribute to weekly contract review

F/T hours, due to the nature of the business this is a site based role
Salary: GBP35000-GBP40000 DOE + benefits

About you:

The ideal candidate is likely to hold a relevant financial qualification and have knowledge/experience of using Sage 50 software.
