The Role:
The Project Technician will help develop their new projects for the Industrial markets and to provide cover and support to the Product Estimator.
Duties to include:
As a member of the Engineering & Development team you will be responsible for the day-to-day
management and development of new product projects.
Day to day this may encompass:
driving new projects from conception to completion
discussions with our Business Development Managers and Production Team to ensure the
business and our customer needs are clearly met
general problem-solving activities to support continual improvement efforts.
Inputting information on our various customers quality part acceptance systems
Costing new or changed products
Your knowledge and skills:
An engineering or costings-based education or be able to show equivalent experience
Computer literate
A high degree of accuracy and repeat ability
Awareness of general problem-solving methodology and techniques.
Experience of CAD systems, engineering drawings, tool design and project management
Whats on offer:
Site based, working hours: Monday – Thursday 07.30-16.30 Friday 07.30-12.30
Salary GBP25000 + benefits
