A great opportunity exists for an experienced Production Planner to join their team.
The production planner is required to assist in co-ordinating all planning processes ensuring accurate schedule of sales order and stock build plans. Helping to ensure scheduling and capacity planning of work centres are realistic and achievable.

About you
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of production operations, practical experience in production planning preferable including forecasting, creating of demand and inventory management. Also, an understanding of LEAN/Continuous improvement would be advantageous.
An advanced knowledge of Microsoft excel (including pivot tables, macros etc. good understanding of Microsoft package, Power BI experience beneficial. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
Education: Minimum 5 X A-C GCSE or equivalent, keen to further learning through training courses.
Full time hours (Monday to Friday)
This role is located on the outskirts of Chard, Somerset
