Our client is a highly successful firm of Chartered Accountants who aim to provide their customers with the best possible understanding about their business and personal financial affairs. They have an exciting opportunity and are looking to recruit a permanent full time Practice Manager/Chartered Accountant to support their clients in Wells, Somerset and London.

The role:
This role focuses on offering advice and guidance for their clients on all aspects of cloud-based accounting solutions. Their typical client will have turnover in the region of GBP250K-GBP3M often Venture Capital backed with huge growth potential

• Monthly Client Review
• Review and finalise client accounts for companies and individuals, accurately and to deadline
• Advise clients regarding tax – PAYE, VAT, Corporate Tax & Self-Assessment returns,
• Prepare Statutory Accounts
• Prepare and review profit and loss variances for clients
• Review control accounts on client balance sheets
• Complete tax planning reviews for client businesses
• Prepare Tax Returns (VAT, Corporate Tax & Self-Assessment)
• Accurately apply current legislation in the preparation of all tax returns
• Line Management
• Line manage a small team of bookkeepers and accounts seniors
• Coach and develop your team members
• Manage the performance and development of your team

About you
The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified, with demonstrable experience of working within a practice, be a confident user of Cloud Accounting software(Quickbooks or Xero) and have experience of managing a team

Whats on offer:
Salary up to GBP65000 DOE
an annual bonus scheme
Full time hours – 9.00 – 5.30 Monday to Friday
hybrid option after a qualifying period
