Practice Accountant

Our client is set in the beautiful cathedral city of Wells, with good links to visit Bath and Bristol and to explore the local countryside including Glastonbury Tor, the local area is steeped in history. An accounting firm of highly skilled and experienced professionals are recruiting for an experienced fully qualified practice accountant.

Your new role will include:
Prepare Statutory Accounts: review profit and loss for clients, review control accounts, complete tax planning reviews
Prepare Tax Returns: accurately apply legislation for tax returns
Advice and Guidance for Clients: liaise with a range of existing and potential clients, advise and guide clients on all aspects of accounting and regarding tax
You may also be asked to undertake other duties (per request from the MD), which is bound to keep your role exciting and put your skills to good use!
Essential skills:
· ACA or ACCA qualified
· Confident working with a range of Cloud Accounting software and apps
· Demonstratable experience in a practice
· Knowledge of changing trends in UK legal requirements re: accounting
· Excellent attention to detail
· Confident with facing clients and problem-solving
Whats on offer:
Salary up to GBP55000 DOE
an annual bonus scheme
Full time hours – 9.00 – 5.30 Monday to Friday
hybrid option after a qualifying period
