The Graduate Training Programme is aimed at taking high calibre graduates through a broad spectrum of management training, covering all disciplines relating to the running of a law firm.
Our client is looking for individuals who are academically bright, naturally curious, and self-motivated, who have the drive to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic business at the heart of their real estate legal industry.
They deliberately dont put you through a structured programme. Instead, you will be working in line with the real-time demands of the business, giving you experience of what running a business is really like.
You will work closely with a key team supporting with administrative tasks in marketing, business development, operations, compliance and more. Your support to this team will assist them in their aim: to work with the management team to drive the business forward – striving for growth, providing exceptional client care, and supporting their legal team in the best way possible.
The end goal is not to push square pegs into round holes, but to give you a grounding in all areas of the business. Some work will play to your strengths, allowing you to develop specialisms within the business. Other work will stretch you outside your comfort zone, teaching you important business skills and challenging the way you think. All will be supported with dedicated training, mentoring and the support of other talented individuals in the business.
You will be based in their Business Services Centre in Taunton, Somerset, and must live in a commutable distance. You will have the opportunity to work from their offices in London and Manchester from time-to-time at the firms discretion.
About you:
Our client is looking for outstanding performers, which means you must have:
A minimum 2:1 academic degree from a top university (likely Russell Group). All degrees will be considered but the role would especially suit a graduate in Law, English, Land Economy, Economics or other challenging degrees.
Minimum 3 As (or equivalent) at A-Level
Majority 7-9 (or equivalent) at GCSE
Our client will also look for the following attributes:
A strong desire to build a career to senior level in general/business management
A hard working (dedicated and effective), resourceful and self-motivated approach
Extensive skills in research, computing, written and spoken communication
A creative, results oriented outlook
A commitment to a ground-up learning style
What’s on offer:
Starting salary GBP25000 + great benefits
