The Role
The purpose of this role is to deliver excellent customer service to all of their customers, primarily through answering incoming calls requiring new claims to be set up and ongoing claims to be updated, where no two calls are the same. To carry out all general administrative tasks relating to their customers claims and policy administration.
Responsibilities and Duties
· To take incoming calls and respond empathetically, escalating more complex cases.
· Navigate and understand the clients website and be able to promote this to customers;
· Taking a range of phone calls from a variety of customers, anything from opening new claims to updating on going.
· To communicate in a clear and accurate manner to customers including providing information and sign posting to approved services.
· To accurately record information and update the system.
Experience and Skill Requirements
· Desire to be part of a team that is passionate about healthcare and customer service delivery
· Desire to be part of a team that is passionate about what they do, always willing to go the extra mile and treat others as they would want to be treated themselves
· Excellent attention to detail, has the ability to manage time and prioritise correctly in order to meet appropriate deadlines and targets to a high standard
· A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C/Level 5 or above, which should include Maths and English. In addition, one of these 5 must also be either Biology or a Double/Triple Science award
· A positive attitude, focused on improving service standards and customer outcomes;
· Sound judgement and problem solving skills
Salary: Starting at GBP24,912 rising to GBP26088 (after probation)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (between the hours of 8am and 7pm* and potentially Saturdays on rotation**)

** Please note when working a Saturday this is only 1 in 5 or 6 working for 3 hours and you would then have an afternoon off in the week in lieu of this and this is not applicable to all teams
